Kitted Disco in Orange County

Great price on a kitted white 95 discovery, with a rebuilt 4.6!

If your Disco has some time on it, your back door panel is probably attached with only a few panel fasteners. RockStar Fab makes a beautiful replacement panel from aluminium or stainless.

This G4 'Spec' Defender 110 might be diced and sliced from a million different rovers (check the county rear seats), but it offers some enhancements and it's pretty freaking cool.



It was created by Reborn, a british car restoration company in North Carolina of all places. They've got a really nice gallery of completed restorations you should have a look at.

66rover - The Elephant Chaser

rover66.com is an owners site that details The Elephant Chaser, a 1966 88" Land-Rover Series that definitely sees some trail time. I really dig the old school nature of this site. BIG background images with some text links thrown overtop.



Apparently the EC has sported a rover engine, a VW diesel and a TDI in it's lifetime. The site covers both diesel conversions with lots of photos. I always wondered how transmission adapters for engine conversions were made.

The window grates on this film truck were added after the theft of camera equipment somewhere in the middle of the jungle.
